Top 5: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party

Top 5: Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party

Mickeys not so scary Halloween Party is easily my favourite paid for extra event at Disney. It is an evening event at Magic Kingdom that requires an additional ticket. It truly is a Magical experience and I would urge everyone who is there during Halloween time to try and attend. Party nights run throughout September and October.

Here are my party night top 5:

5. The candy

Halloween is nothing without candy Right? Well at the beginning of the night you are given a bag to collect candy as you trick or treat around Magic Kingdom. There are lots of trick or treat stations with Cast Members giving out candy. You can even take your own bag if you want. I will warn you – you can get a lot of candy. This fuzzy picture is from our first every party in 2012 and we got this each!mickeys-not-so-scary-Halloween-party-candy

4. The Characters

I am a sucker for a character meet and greet – the Halloween party┬átakes it to the next level. Rare character meets and characters in their Halloween get up. My Favourite of the 2017 Party was Daisy and Donald Duck – they made such a fuss of us and their costumes were so cute!

3. The castle show

I don’t need to say anything….just watch this awesome clip on you tube. Unfortunately on the night we went in 2017, the last show of the night was cut short due to lightening but that only means we need to see it again!

2. The parade

The party has a special parade called the Boo to You Parade. The parade is led (on dry days only!) by the headless horseman who rides down main street. I think this parade is Disney themeing at its best and it boasts a cute soundtrack too.

And in the number one spot: Hallowishes

I just love normal Wishes – I will admit it makes me cry! And until I seen Hallowishes I would have said it was perfect but these fireworks are the next level. Stunningly spectacular! I am deliberately not going to post a video as they just dont do them justice. To me the fireworks are worth the entry fee alone!

These pictures are from the Disney parks blog and they still dont come close:
