My travel plans for 2017

My travel plans for 2017

I have been very lucky to travel more than most  in the last few years. Despite this, I have still barely made a dent in my bucket list. 2017 will be the year I get to cross off a few more. My travelling companion as usual will be my lovely husband – Jamie. He is the one with the beard.

If you are one of the lucky ones who has been following my blog since the beginning ( I love you!), you will know that we wanted to do this crazy challenge of visiting every Disney park in the space of 12 months. Well we are still going to do it but we wont be complete by the end of 2017. Its okay though, its because something amazing happened – I won a trip to Iceland. One of my first ever blog posts was about how I went on holiday for free, Its here, and now I am going to Iceland for free courtesy of Rollover hotdogs and Star Trek. Yep really.

Now this put an amazing spanner in the works as it meant we would have to put aside some annual leave to cover the trip making the all parks one year unobtainable. Never fear it just meant we would push our China/Japan trip into 2018 and revisit Disneyland Paris in 2018 and It also meant we could go Orlando twice to utilise our annual passes. One trip to Orlando will be shorter than our normal trips but there was just not simply enough annual leave left to do China/Japan justice. I could have picked somewhere else but I like Mickey Mouse and I already have the tickets…..

So I have waffled on a bit and all you wanted to know was where I am planning to travel to!

The destinations for 2017

Bahamas cruise from Port Canaveral

Orlando x 2

New Orleans

San Francisco

Disneyland Resort – Anaheim

I also want to travel to more places here in Scotland as I am desperate to see more but I am all out of that damm annual leave.

Just now my 2017 is looking pretty amazing, where will your adventures take you?
