Overlooked Attractions:Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is currently my favourite park in all of WDW but I get a bit sad when so much of it seems to be overlooked by many visitors. Here are my favourite overlooked attractions in Magic Kingdom. Why dont you give them a go on your next visit ?

Magic Kingdom Railroad

The blurb from the WDW website sums up this attraction perfectly ‘All Aboard! Embark on a relaxing 20-minute, 1.5-mile scenic tour onboard an authentic steam-powered train. Listen to the clamor of the engine, the chug of the wheels and the call of the whistle as you travel aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad. Offering convenient stops at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Main Street, U.S.A., it’s the perfect way to preview the magic at Magic Kingdom park and take in the picturesque scenery. The Walt Disney World Railroad is also a handy way to get around quickly and easily. And because the trains are scheduled to arrive at each station every 4 to 10 minutes at most times throughout the day, you never have to worry about waiting a long time to ride one.’

 Country Bear Jamboree

I will admit we over looked this attraction till our March 2015 trip – its just so easy to walk past if you are heading to Big Thunder or Splash Mountain. Its such a cute and quirky little show.

Liberty Square Riverboat

Hop aboard the Liberty Belle and take a cruise along the Rivers of America. This is a really great way to see some different views of the park and to give your feet a rest. There are views of Big Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion that you cant get anywhere else in the park.

These are just three of my favourites but there are so many in WDW that it would take all day to list. What are your favourite overlooked attractions?

I agree. These are all good attractions missed by people who only have a day or two to get around Disney. We also love Carousel of Progress And Hall of Presidents. Both allow you to have a little rest in the air con and learn a thing or two 😊
