Restaurant Review: D-Luxe Burger, Disney Springs

Restaurant Review: D-Luxe Burger, Disney Springs

Restaurant: D-Luxe Burger

Location: Disney Springs, Town Center

Dining Plans: Quick Service

Type of Food: Burgers

This was my first time visiting Disney Springs since the town centre area had opened and after hearing so many good things about D-Luxe Burger I decided to give it a try. I visited on a weekday evening in November with my husband and we order a burger each and a portion of fries to share.

Barbecue Classic Burger

El Diablo Burger

Unfortunately I was really disappointing in my experience here at D-Luxe Burger. If I am completely honest there is only really one nice thing I can say – the decor was nice.

I had the barbecue classic burger and it was too greasy to eat. As I picked it up and it almost fell out of my hand as it was dripping with grease. All you could taste was the grease. My husband had the El Diablo burger and whilst his was also very greasy he was able to finish his. He described the burger as okay, greasy and lacking flavour. Any burger with El Diablo in its name should not be lacking flavour – it should have a nice spicy kick but this burger did not.

The fries did not favour any better. The amount of salt on these fries was revolting. To me they were completely inedible. My husband is a bigger salt fan than me and he also thought they were horrible.

Now the Brits are well known for not making a complaint and just moaning about the experience later. We were about to make a complaint when the table next to us made a complaint. They had been served bacon on their vegetarian burger. The family at the table behind them then made a complaint about the fries and then a third table made a complaint about their full order. We felt that they already knew that they were having a bad night and there was nothing to be gained from complaining.

Overall View of D-Luxe Burger

I read so many positive reviews about this restaurant that I do suspect they were just having a bad night when we visited. There are so many amazing places at Disney Springs now that I doubt we will ever give them a second chance.

Have you been to D-Luxe? Did you have a better experience? Let me know in the comments.

Don’t worry it’s not just you who didn’t have a great experience! The chickenburger I ordered was actually inedible so I went hungry, and I completely agree about the amount of salt on the fries and that’s coming from a salt lover! I doubt I’ll go back either.
